Whee! Last week of freedom. I have approximately one week of lack of working, and then the Summer of No Seriously I'm Gonna Be Busting My Ass is going to set in. I already picked up a bunch of training, plus a few holes (holes are when we have events that need to be covered but they don't fit in with anyone's schedule very well, so you get incentives to pick up those events) so my hours are looking good. Absolutely terrified I'm going to be scheduled during my vacation and crap I forgot to call the dentist again. Anyway, so, that sucks.
But you know what doesn't suck? This week on SG! Holy crap! Have you seen some of the sets up? What's funny is that I'll go a week without looking at sets (I will admit to being very particular about physical details - if I don't like the way a girl looks, I probably won't look at her set. However, I always look at girls that I've heard good things about, or present themselves in a favorable way on the boards.) So in semi-chronological order, first off, you absolutely have to take a peek at Manko's new set. It's pretty much the epitome of hottest thing ever. I'm excessively happy that Roethke's set got a second chance. Before that, did you look at Sunshine's? If you like vaginas, you'll like Sunshine's set a lot. So yes. Good sets all around.
While I'm plugging things: want to see good music in the Lincoln area? Oh, you do? Good. If you like psychodelic-type rock (heavily influenced by the use of lots of pot) with long solos, then you should check out In Space at the Zoo Bar on July 10th. I've never been to the Zoo so I dunno how good the setup is, but the boys from In Space are fab. Good With Guns is playing at Duffy's on the 18th - these guys are pretty sweet punk. Rumor has it that they may be breaking up which would be sad, but they have a great sound. They're also playing that night with Luna Triste, I think, which is more of a slower alt-rock band that's not really my thing, but I love Frank so of course I have to plug his band. And, of course, it'd be silly of me to plug all these bands without mentioning the boy's band - known as No Jumping For Jim, they'll be playing... somewhere.. sometime later this month. I can't remember if it's at Knickerbockers or Duffy's. In any case, I'll be sure to post about it cause I'll almost definitely be there. And drinking.
In other news, that's.. about all there is. Working, eating, sleeping. Playing lots of AoE on my ds. It's pretty sweet. I planned to go grocery shopping today but man, I hate going during the day. There's sooo many peeeoppleee and I get all anxious and whatnot. So that's really it. I'll be bumming around all day and partying my ass off at night to make up for my complete and utter lack of days off for the rest of the summer, except when I am in other states. Wheeeeeee.

I've had quite a few internet meetings go really well - including the one where I met my boyfriend.
