Yesterday, my work went down the shitter. Imagine 10-15 people in a room the size of your living room, all trying to yell at or over each other. Things were going badly. I would venture to guess that if the client (the people who sponsor our studies) were in the room last night, they would've pulled the study and gone elsewhere. It was a MESS.
As a result, I was pissed enough to not want to go party. Craziness, I know. But I'm smart enough to realize that if I'm in a bad mood, and I get to drinking, and someone puts me in an even worse mood, there will probably be some sort of bad events happening and I didn't want to deal with that. So instead, I played dynasty warriors and went to bed early.
This is my exciting, exciting life. Today I worked a bit, plan on moving more of my shit over to the new place, and then work again. Again, exciting. I think my favorite part so far is how I'm finally sore from carrying things around on Thursday, and it is now Sunday. Hopefully I'll be able to get my big stuff out of here this next weekend, and have my internet switched over shortly thereafter.
Only 3 more weeks left of school. And then it's a long summer, cause I don't start back up until September 20th when I board a plane to start a new temporary life in Tokyo. And hopefully the summer after this, I'll be able to save up enough money during the year to go back to Mexico. That would be awesome. Not to mention, being able to say 'I've lived in 2 foreign countries where the primary language is not English before I was 22 and paid for nearly all of it myself' is something that I am really proud of. And yay for scholarships.
