So I haven't blogged here much. Or at all. I guess between a very active livejournal account and a semi-active myspace account, do I really need to blog anywhere else?
OF COURSE I DO!
That being said, this has been a crappy week for me. My boyfriend's grandma died (it was okay, she was 99, but it still sucked). Just as sucky, I went home for spring break, just for a day. While driving home, my jaw began to hurt. I have notoriously crappy teeth and this particular one had been bothering me off and on for over a year, and really started to act up in October but hadn't bothered me much since so I'd sort of forgotten about it. Well, by the time I got home I was so desperate, I was pretty much taking any painkiller I could get my hands on. I was about to start calling up old contacts from high school asking for anything, but then I started puking. (Great way to get people to read my blog, huh?) I continued to chow down ibuprofen and puking until the next day, when I went to my rockin hometown dentist. He informed me that I had an abcessed tooth (which, if you don't know, is when the pulp in your tooth has died and there is an infection and basically my tooth was full of pus. Disgusting. And painful). And that I had to wait until the next day to get it taken care of. Greeeeeeeeeeeeeeat.
So I drove back to my apartment in Lincoln, 2 hours away to grab more clothes and things to do cause let's face it: anywhere in Nebraska that is not Lincoln or Omaha is generally boring as fuck. And even Lincoln and Omaha's tolerability is debateable. In any case, I stayed with my boyfriend who lovingly gave me some leftover pills from when he got his wisdom teeth out. I drove back home again early Wednesday morning and shortly afterwards they numbed me up and opened up the demon tooth. So now I get to chill out with a cool temprorary filling and a wad of cotton to soak up the gunk until I can go in to see a root canal specialist guy later this week.
My life is generally more entertaining and less painful than this. I promise. Maybe I'll recap my mardi gras story for the entertainment of SG readers because it's definitely hilarious. Well, the parts I remember anyway.

rockoval:
That sounds quite painful. I hope your meeting with the root canal guy goes well.
