well here we go again!
i know i have been kinda around the last week but i just have not felt like writing anything down. or blogging that is. honestly i am not too sure why i have not been feeling like writing. the time away from you all was hard. ill be honest here, i really really appreciate being able to talk to you all from around the world. hearing kind words, seeing smiles in pics, reall boost my morale big time. i was so excited when i finally got home ((new home again yes i moved once again)) and was able to jump online and say hi to you all. Hi!
I started with another new company for work. It seems good but there is one thing that is hurting me and i think its the reason i feel down. Im starting to find that there is really no work for a male medic in the oilfield anymore. it seems that the consultants and people in charge only want female medics. now i dont blame them too much due to the fact that even i agree that i rather look at a beautiful lady when im workin out in the patch, but it sucks that im a guy and this is about all im good at. my boss is pretty good in that hes offering me to learn the safety side of things and working the fire/shower truck too. i mean its a great oppertunity, but i know my heart lays with being a medic, not a H2S supervisor or a truck driver. I did suggest to the boss that i would be very interested in becoming a medic supervisor and help him around the office more. but im not sure if he would go with it.
anyway enough of that crap. sorry for dropping that on you all on my return. im looking outside right now and its raining again. i dont think there has been a day in the last 2 weeks that it has not rained at least once per day.
anyway miss everyone and i promise i will catch up on your blogs and drop you all a hello and a hug to you ladies
