I've retired from dating. I feel like there's no such thing as "dating" in this town. There's no "hey, let's get to know each other better," there's always some agenda. I'm 20 years old. I dated a guy for a week, then had the balls to tell him to his face that I thought he was cool and wanted to be friends but didn't feel the whole dating thing...he freaked out and screamed at me on the street that I was "walking all over someone pretty special" and that he was "way too busy" to put any time into me. So apparently I'm only worth spending time with if the possibility of fucking is involved.

Supposed to be heading up to Madison today with my best friend...not happening because of the snow. We're going tomorrow, hopefully. Tonight we're watching movies and drinking martinis. Not a bad substitute.

I saw Casablanca for the first time last night and fell in love with it....it's now my favorite movie of all time.
