i'd love to come to the white elephant even though i have no clue where or what it is. lol. but i will be in south carolina in a couple hours. itsn ot 2:45 and my flight is leaving philadelphia at 6 am.
The reason for this all of a sudden trip and my previous comment is that on saturday around lunch time down in clemson one of my best friends and probably the nicest, most caring and smartest person i know died in a motorcycle accident. he and my other best friend mike were riding down what is known as the dragon's tail in western south carolina when around 1 pm Rj was riding behind mike and Rj lost control of his bike and went head on into a truck in the other lane. they said he was knocked unconscious immediately and didn't feel any pain. there was a doctor and nurse in one of the cars right behind the accident who tried to do everything they could for him but they were unable to save him. he's 21 years old, senior at clemson university studying chemical engineering and philosophy and would be graduation this spring.
Im heading down there for the funeral on friday in columbia sc and the burial in south eastern va on saturday. i'll be back sunday round 2ish then exams all week then driving down to florida for xmas with the sis then back to columbia then back here with mike and katie for new years. so im gonna be on the road a lot. but if i dont talk to some of you guys i hope you have a very safe and happy holiday.
I raise a toast to RJ and to all of those who have gone before there time and before us that they may rest in peace and await us at whatever might come next.
