man...this day has sure sucked...
I woke up to find a beautiful day waiting for me outside. Although I discovered as soon as I mounted my bike that the wind was blowing from the south east, the direction which I was riding...and my athsma was already acting up. Furthermore, I was unfortunate enough to have terrible timing at every light, intersection and passing pedestrian causing me to have to brake, stop, and one time nearly take a dive into the lagoon!
Then I discovered after my first class that the sky had clouded up and rain was surely coming soon. After my second class there were a few drops falling from the sky, but not too bad.
I went to the library to get some books for my presentation on wednesday, and use the computers, but every last one was full! So I had to ride my bike around to the other side of this poorly designed campus to the other computer lab.
The first computer I got was going crazy trying to read a non-existent 3.5 floopy in the empty floppy drive, so I had to switch to another computer. I went to download some images for my powerpoint slide show, and found that, for some reason, I was getting .1-.5 Kbps on an ethernet connection! I gave up on that after about 40 minutes of waiting for a 175 Kb image to download and decided to come back to the comfort of my own home...I figured I was getting just as much done there as I would being distracted here...
On my way home, the wind decided to change direction to once again blow directly in my face...and once again I had to unfortuunate timing that caused me to stop, swerve and skid my way home! GRRR
