Today I'm kind of bummed because I met this cool girl a while back and I dunno if I got her email address jumbled up or what but I lost touch with her. She's gay so it's not that kind of bummed out. But you know how hard it is to have a really good conversation and find someone you could be good friends with. As time goes by I realize how easy it is to drift away from people and they're hard to replace. Sure you meet a lot of people but in comparison the things we say to each other day to day are so superficial and empty. Just a bunch of random unanswered messages and some "hey, how are you?" encounters.
Like... SG and MySpace - do you really make any friends or do you just accumulate comments and people on your list? Way better to sit in a cafe and reconnect for a while with someone human, but how often does that happen?
Funny how you can connect with someone and you feel really good for a day and then if you have one of those days when you're like... sitting around in your apartment by yourself you feel like crap even though nothing bad happened.
