Wassup good looking peeps! Nothing much going on with my life cept for school at the moment and sadly we dont celebrate easter here. Since easter is the day of being nice, happy and being a better self... I think :P
So these are some of the stuff I live by to be happy :D
1) Always look on the bright side of life
No matter how down you are life have got to go on. Really there isn't any point wallowing in your sorrows how about look on to the things that makes you happy and look towards the people who love you and live for you and you for them.
2) Always see every set back as a life lesson and not a down fall
This has something to with point 1, why always ponder on your mistakes always regretting getting into the situation in the first place? Just pick yourself up and see growing up internally or a "scar" that you can wear proudly and say I've been through this shit it won't phase me again!
3) The 30 second first impression is bullshit, everyone deserves a chance :D
This I would love to share especially with the ladies. Scientifically it has been proven that the first 30 seconds, subconsciously, induces our first impression of a person based on his actions and speech. Since this a known fact why can't we overlook this "first impression" thing since we know that it isn't based on your conscious deduction. Give the person a chance, understand him or her first hand then decided. However I'm not saying one should not ignore one's instincts, if you are getting too many red lights something IS wrong. :P
4) Always put yourself in the shoes of others.
This is usually why I am always devils advocate no matter what. So this works with heaps of things it is hard to put in words. But this is would be how my brain process. Feel, be sensitive, open your heart, send out your brain waves, change your perception, connect.
5) Do something nice with genuine intentions and don't expect anything in return.
This is a cruel and cold world, however there is still hope for mankind. Why does everything needs to have a catch how about do something nice for someone and just go on your merry way. Positive and happy words, encouragement, giving a listening ear, opening a door for someone, giving your seat to someone. Ok I know this has been said so many times and can be kinda stupid BUT think, what if you are in the shoes of the recipient? How would you feel? Let's share that feeling with others too ^^
What are the rules that you live by? :D
