first thing, good news! hubby now has a working email address on the ship! he gets to check it once a day, which makes updating him so much easier! now he won't have an entire inbox waiting for him whenever he can get to it, and he won't have to hear about stuff via letters a month too late.
eppie's been sick, so we've spent the last couple of weeks in and out of the vet's office. at first we thought it was just a bacterial infection, but the tests came back negative. now the vet thinks she might have a food allergy (yay, one of the hardest problems to diagnose!), so i've switched their food to try and isolate the problem. if that doesn't work, she gets to go back for blood work to make sure everything's functioning the way it should. at least she's acting normal, which keeps me from totally freaking out.
my friend's husband is getting stationed in pennsylvania, and i was able to spend a lot of quality time with her before she left! but the day before they were supposed to leave, her husband decided to beat her up, run into her car, and leave her and her 3 year old in california. of course, he waited until after the movers took their entire house, and after he was able to pack everything else in his suv. all he left her with was an empty house that still needed to be cleaned out. i spent the night helping her clean and figure out what to do next. i'm glad that she'll be ok, but goddamn i want to beat her husband so bad! he couldn't have left her SOMETHING?? it's so infuriating when some asshole gets their kicks by hurting a person who loves them.
my first test is tuesday! i'm nervous, but the curriculum is pretty basic right now. we'll see how i hold up there at the end
i'm probably forgetting a whole bunch, but i'm bored with this now. time to move along!

hi lady.

urg. yes, the tummy pudgies that plague most women, I've found that leg lifts help... (and the love of food prolly isn't helping either... ) I lack the self-discipline to keep up with a core workout... it's like "eh, I should do some sit ups..." every few days, and that's about as good as it gets.
