well i guess it's about time for another blog. hey! let's make it completely random! yay!

*woo hoo! we'll be in vegas this saturday! i'm so excited to see my mama for her birthday. plus i get to meet my brother's boyfriend for the first time, and my uncle dave, my aunt's husband. he's a big-time art critic, and travels all the time, so we've never been able to meet before. but i've heard a ton of weird stories about him, so i don't really know what to expect. from what i can tell, he's an old, crotchety, artsy version of my husband. should be interesting.
*went to the last fashion whore last friday and won the costume contest! plus i got more obnoxiously drunk than i have been in years. those who were there know what i'm talking about (ny-o! ny-o!)
*got these pics in an email forward entitled "and you think you had a bad day." hahaha, ew gross.
i think this one was the worst:
* as far as my last post is concerned, i've worked everything out with the majority of those i spoke about. only one or two remain, but honestly i can take them or leave them so i'll take my good sweet time, thank you very much. it was really nice to get everything off my chest and to come to an understanding, but also to let them know that i'm not fucking around anymore. plus i've rekindled a friendship that ended months ago. we'll see how it goes. we're both in better places than we were during our falling out, but i still won't stand for any shit.
* ok one more thing, but this blog is long enough as it is. kudos to anyone who's made it this far! i've decided to go back to school (for the REALS, this time). i'll be starting this fall! before i go back to finish my degree, i'll get my dog training certification. it's something i've been throwing around for about a year now, and when i did some research on it i realized how perfect it will be for me. it's a fun, rewarding, and lucrative job (san diego rates are as high as 80 to 100 bucks an hour) that i can do while i'm finishing my bachelor's, it's valid in all 50 states and is a lifetime certification, so i can take it back to texas with me, and it will help when we settle down and start fostering dogs, so we can make them more adoptable! i'm really excited about it! those of you with pups (esp those with problem pups), come this fall i'll be looking for some practice!
ok now i'm done, i promise.
