i'm really trying to blog more, still trying to figure out why anyone in their right mind would want to listen to my day to day ramblings, but i suppose if you're bored enough this might actually entertain you for a little while...
started my job yesterday, first job i've had since we've been in cali (well, paying job, at least. being a housewife was more like 24/7 volunteer work!). actually i like it alot! i'm a housekeeper for one of the sdsu sorority houses. don't ask me which one, i don't care enough to ask. sororities aren't exactly my cup of tea, but i don't really have to interact with them. and the hours more than make up for it! just 3 to 4 hours a day, weekends and wednesdays off. ten bucks an hour, which won't pay the bills, but justin's job already does that. anything i make is for savings or just for fun. plus i don't have to put up with annoying coworkers, and i only interact with my boss when i call her once a week to give her my hours. that's right, no clocking in so i guess she'll just have to trust me!
also we are ready to have another baby (canine, that is). poor eponine is so lonely, and it's really starting to show. we already have one picked out from a rescue in la, we just have to get a hold of our landlord before we apply to make sure we can have a second dog. and that's become much more difficult than we anticipated. to give you an idea, we've been in this apartment since july 16, and have yet to even sign the lease! in a way it's good, because i know he isn't really nosy or anal about things, but then when we need him so we can make an important decision, it can be a drag.
but the dog we want is so perfect! her name is terry (we'll be changing it), and she's a one year old boston terrier/ staffordshire mix. eppie's a staffie mix, and they are such wonderful dogs! and justin's always wanted a boston, but we'll only have mutts. purebreds have so many problems, both physically and emotionally, plus i could never pay money for a dog when there are so many better dogs out there who just need a loving home. remember kids: DON'T BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER PETS DIE!
i've got a few photoshoots coming up in the next few weeks, so i'll make sure to post some of the pictures when they are done! and one of them is with the always entertaining _jordan_ for sg itself! hopefully our set will be the one that makes me pink, and gets him one step closer to being a staff photographer! so san diego area hopefuls: if you need a photographer, check him out! he's freakin awesome! plus he gives great hugs
guess that's all for now. if anything interesting comes up, i'll be sure to let you know
