Hello everyone.
It's been quite a while since I took the time to actually site and write down a blog post. I know I know. Bad Alma.
As most of you guys and girls know I shoot tons of hopefuls. More than SuicideGirls, but for no special reason. It just turns out that way. I feel like it's a different kind of challenge when you're working with someone who is experiencing modeling for the first or second time than it is when you're working with a girl who has been modeling for years. None is better than the other, it's just different.

However, I have to pin down a few things that need hopefuls to read. This is something I try to talk with the models who work with me for the first time, specially shy ones. Because being naked on the internet doesn't mean we are all forward. Right?
During the last years I've worked with tons of girls that are actually pretty shy. How to make it all better?

If you've been watching me on Suicidegirls Periscope, by now, you know I am all kind of silly, that I talk way too much and did I mention silly already?? Yeah. I'm the kind of person who will choke on air just because I am clumsy and forget how to breathe properly. That's how silly.
If you haven't been watching... WHY?????????????!!!!
All this to say that, when I am shooting a set for SG, I usually talk a lot bunch about things that make you feel good. That is books, tv shows, I usually ask about education and work, family, but, most important of all, the random happy things. Sometimes you might not notice it, because you're focusing on your modeling, but most of the time, I'll talk kitties, sweets and funny-silly details. This makes the model smile without second guessing herself and then it's up to me to get that.
So how to make it all better? Understand the model and her issues. Laugh with her and make her feel like she can trust you. You're seeing her naked! That is a huge step.
And why is this so important?
Body language. Because everyone can tell when you are NOT comfortable.

Girls, I can't stress this enough : YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! You don't need to be shy in front of me.
You all have amazing bodies, eyes and hair and pretty hands and feet and really nice bums and bewbs! ALL. OF. YOU.
Some of the hopefuls I've worked it are not yet aware of how pretty they are. Maybe family put her down? Boyfriend, girlfriend? Bad friends? It's not up to me to solve this issue, I know, but I feel like.. They're there for me, showing themselves for me - later for all of us but, until then, they ALL MINEEEEEEE MWAHAHAHA. ok, 'nough. -and that's HUGE! To me it is. And I really appreciate that they picked me to photograph them. So I tell them. Most of the time, you can tell there's a huge difference when it comes to body language between the first pictures and the last ones. And I am honestly not lying when I am telling you you have great eyes, or really pretty hands or great amazing boobs or butt! Huge thighs? We all love them!
Don't be affraid to act silly and be..you. You're not a doll. You shouldn't want to be a doll.

So girls, when shooting, forget how you're supposed to look like.
Member will like you because you're yourself, not because you look like someone else.
