So, I went to the SGUK book signing at Waterstones Piccadilly this evening. It was a slightly surreal experience and I hadn't even intended to buy the book but ended up doing so...the book is larger (and heavier!) than I thought. I went upstairs and got it signed by the girls that were there....half of them I recognized and only one them I really knew...a slightly awkward experience but I'm used to that...
Afterwards, I walked to Chinatown and randomly picked a cafe where I had a large bowl of seafood jook (i.e. congee or rice porridge). The perfect dish for a cold, wet day!
I wandered around soho for a bit before going up to Camden for the after-book-signing party. I took some pictures:

Thank you! I don't think I have too much of a problem with them but my friend was convinced he saw one a while back and it was a full moon and I was bored. But then again it was the friend that took too many viagra lol
