Here are some recent pictures I took at the Tate Modern art museum in London:









The pictures are of an installation piece in the Turbine Hall of the Tate by Doris Salcedo called Shibboleth. You can read more about it here. It's a remarkable piece and, as you can see from the pictures, it compels people to examine and interact with it.

As I said in my previous entry, I'm in California visiting my parents for the next few weeks. I haven't really done much...mostly ate, played on the computer, uploaded some videos...



I did go out briefly to Fry's Electronics to get some parts. Fry's is kind of a local institution in Bay Area. It started out many years ago as a regular supermarket but gradually morphed into an electronics hypermart chain...also stopped by Rasputin Records which took over the old Tower Records store in Mt. View....yep, this is the same Tower Records that used to be in Piccadilly Circus in London years ago...

Anyway, I'm looking to not doing much for the next few days...Happy Holidays!
