I'm back from my one week visit to California. I went back for a couple of reasons.

One was to attend a banquet for my Uncle. He spent a good part of his life researching Chinese-American history and the Chinese Historical Society decided to honor him this year for all his work. He's 82 this year and not in the best of health so I thought I should make an effort to see him.

The other reason was to see my parents and sister because I hadn't seen them since last Christmas...

While at home, I rediscovered my 8mm movie projector and watched a couple of really old 8mm films I shot back in the early 80's...that brought back a lot of memories...I'll have to go through the rest of them next time I visit.
