The power went out this evening. So I went down to Croydon for dinner and then caught Tsui Hark's Seven Swords. It looked similar to Seven Samurai/Magnificent Seven but had enough unique details to keep it interesting. The plot was a little hard to follow but I got the gist of it...

The last movies I saw were some Oscar contenders, and they were good, but I can't say I was blown away: Walk the Line, Mrs. Henderson Presents, and some other stuff I'm forgetting so they couldn't have been that good. Do you watch the Oscars?
