It's really quite fascinating to watch the deterioration of the Republican leadership, occurring now at a daily basis. Between Bush's repeated visist and pandering to have Joe Six-Pack and the US people forget his deer in headlights look and lack of reaction to DeLay's indictment and certainly a coming series of ugly revelations.
DeLay was just on a Fox interview. He of course said it was payback. But mostly, his defense was "nothing was wrong because everyone does it". But the description is nothing but political donation money laundering. Dirty filthy boy.
Not that the Democrats are focused or gutsy enough to capitalize on anything.
But...interesting stuff, indeed.
Although they not need to do a thing ultimately.
