It's really quite fascinating to watch the deterioration of the Republican leadership, occurring now at a daily basis. Between Bush's repeated visist and pandering to have Joe Six-Pack and the US people forget his deer in headlights look and lack of reaction to DeLay's indictment and certainly a coming series of ugly revelations.

We have Priscilla Owen confirmed as a Federal Judge, following a mindboggling cave-in compromise from 14 foolish politicians. I'd've been totally happy to have this extremist, anti-freedoms judge languish to death in gridlock, debate and filibuster. But now, she's confirmed to the appeals circuit where she can pretty well fuck over freedoms and citizens with unobstructed...
