Holy shit, they won't leave me alone at work lately. I fix one thing, and 3 more things go wrong. I utilized a bit of logic and finally came to the conclusion that maybe I just should fix things.

It really started with my car. As I pulled in to the parking lot, my temprature shot way up and the car pretty much dumped all its coolant out like it was about to give birth. I'd only replaced the radiator last weekend. Now it seems the water pump is out. So, I'll be replacing that and promptly selling the car to the highest bidder. I will need money for another beater, so I'll start the bidding at $1000. 1990 Ford Taurus SHO.

I'm not even going to go into detail with the technical issues at work today as I'm not trying to write a book...

On the up side, I found that I am getting a raise effective Feb 14th. Good thing I'm still single, so that extra money doesn't have to go to something symbolic and useless on Valentines day.

Though I did hang out with this girl Kim the other night, who left me a voice message suggesting that we go out again. As cool, attractive, and well endowed as she is, I think I'm still going to use my busted-ass car as an excuse. Not that I am trying to be an asshole, but it's all part of my new years resolution... Do not pursue or easily be tricked in to any relationships... If they want to date or get serious, it's got to be all them from now on. This way, I know I won't get suckered in to any more all-take-no-give relationships.
