So, let me get this straight... 1 senator can stop the entire senate in it's tracks? Huh? Say what? One senator? Whether it's Lieberman or Nelson or Shelby or Bunning, one senator can say no to something and nothing happens.
Some would say that's Democracy in action. I call it cowardice. But, I don't live in Kentucky, and I have a job, so who am I to argue? In all seriousness, I actually don't disagree with Sen. Bunning in theory; as a country, we should be able to pay for things we want or need. I just hate the arrogance of it.
