Well, it's 2010. I hope everyone has a great year, and here are some observations:
-I had some painting to do around my condo (small amount), and all I can say is... painting sucks. Sure, it's easy work, but it just sucks.
-Can someone please explain to me what the appeal is of Lady GaGa? Some of her outfits are fun, but that's about it. I just can't understand why people like her music (if you do, sorry I'm being so harsh)?
-My New York Giants embarrassed themselves the last two weeks of the season. Horrendous performances. The type of games where it looked like the players are quitting on their coach to try to get him fired. But, Tom Coughlin's not going anywhere. I don't even know where to begin to fix it, because so much needs fixing.
-Having said that, I can't wait for the NFL playoffs next week.
-I would love to get new car. Not even a brand new car, just one that's new to me. Unfortunately, that's not happening anytime soon.
-Could we stop playing politics with terrorism? That means you, Dick Cheney.
-Why is Ellen Page doing Cisco commercials? I guess there's nothing wrong with it, but it just seems strange. Like Zooey Dashanel (or however she spells it) doing ads for cotton.
-Pepsi "throwback?" Really? Did we need this?
-I can't get enough of the NHL Winter Classic. It just plain rocks.
-Do Oscars really matter anymore?
-If all this speculation about Apple launching an iSlate or tablet computer ends up not panning out, I'm going to laugh. And cry.
-I wonder if I should get a new cell phone? I currently have a Blackberry Curve on Verizon, but I don't want to pay for a new phone, or at least not pay much. Any suggestions?

I just saw a Pepsi throwback commercial today for the first time... it's retro because it has actual sugar? Is that the whole idea?
Lady Gaga: I kind of like her because I like to get wrecked and dance to ridiculous pop once in a while. Some of her videos are pretty interesting visually (I like Paparazzi for the fetish imagery and Bad Romance for the Alexander McQueen wardrobe... oh, McQueen, you are expensive and therefore break my heart.) Also, she runs around in latex and reportedly went to the same nerd-camp summer program as me as a kid.
Also, I like painting but dislike paint rollers. It is impractical to paint walls with a brush though, so if I had to paint my imaginary house I'd probably think it sucked too.
