Sometimes I wish life came with a true owner's manual... one with an extensive section on solving problems. So often it seems I don't know what to do, and while I'm talking to a professional once a week in an effort to try to help, I'm just not sure about so many things. Work is OK, but even that's got me stressed at times (not to mention what to make of the economy). My relationship has essentially died and that's making me sad and put me on edge (I don't know if its salvageable or even worth salvaging). I'm not totally adrift, but I'm a bit lost as to where to begin to address some of these issues. It's like I've identified most of them, and I know they'll take some time to correct, but I wish they were done already.

I actually got a job doing the same thing you do. It's very stressful (for me at least). Hopefully things are different outside of the university setting.
Hope things start looking up soon for you.
p.s.- please tell me you watched the series finale of the shield.
