SO baby girl stayed home today with a temp rising up and down up and down. Nursed her back to health. Love holding her in my arms and her needing me like she did when she was a wee one. I dunno, maybe I'm just getting old and cynical and have ceased to have any faith whatsoever in the voting public at large, but I wasn't the least bit surprised at the election result. So much so that I wasn't even disappointed - just shrugged at the inevitability of it all. Besides, would Kerry have been so much better? Isn't party politics just a pointless side-show when we all know it's a handful of superrich corporations that are running the world...?
