My new coworkers are pretty cool. Adjusting is a little odd, but doable. I've already have lunch with a friend (as he works in the same building!) and have another lunch date scheduled for tomorrow.

It would be nice if I could get a paycheck before all this "eating" but we shall make due as we shall.

Speaking of money, I'm gonna be so damned poor working here. It's not that they don't pay me, it's that every store I could wish to shop in for clothes, food, or geek stuff is within a couple of blocks (for serious, I leave the building and immediately see Jim Hanley's across from me, then cross The Complete Strategist on the way to the train).

I really want a perm again. Just need to find a place by me that will actually give me one.
