So I didn't get the job I interviewed for, but I am not down.
Looks like I'm a shoe-in to be the three-month temp receptionist at the hubby's place of business (and we know well enough to avoid each other when working). It is quite possible the receptionist who is leaving for surgery will not be able to come back (double knee surgery) but if she does, I can well position myself to take one of the other open positions at the company.
That means today's final show of the season at work could be my last show there ever. That's exciting.
I'd be leaving behind the best friend I've ever had in the workplace, which makes me sad, but I'll keep the friendship while I lose the the gig. He's too cool to ditch.

Hey, I get married in less than 4 months. It's really happening.
No flipping out today about that. Probably because I've gotten a couple of things done. It's coming though
