My theatre company lost its' home theatre very abruptly: Read here, though you won't see any mention of my children's theatre company there.
We had just come back from lunch after our opening performance to make corrections when a City Marshall walked in and told us we were all being evicted. As our company always paid its rent on time, we were a bit flabbergasted. I almost felt sorry for the Marshall after awhile since he obviously had no idea what he was walking into. I can't even tell you how many sub-lessees are, well were, in that building that he had no idea about.
So now my company has booked performances and no place to perform them.
I've been working ridiculous days as this festival of fuck continues. I'm canceling rehearsals of my own show to wait pointless hours outside of a locked building. I'm driving shit around like crazy when I should be assembling old inventories to make sure no one shits on us more than they already are.
I'm so stressed about this bullshit it's hard to think. I hate everything.
Except all of you, of course.
Love to you...
