bowie melted my brain using only his ROCK GOD POWAH.
there were meant to be thunderstorms on monday night. it was all cloudy and evil and windy and freezing. something for kate played their shitty arse support songs (their best song was a cover of an echo and the bunnymen song) while we looked up cursing the clouds and hugging our bowie paraphenalia..
bowie comes on and melts everyone's brains and we look up at the sky during Rebel Rebel and, oh my fucking god, we could see stars and the weather was perfect for the entire concert.
i take this as proof that david bowie is god and he can control weather, time and the world's supply of vegan chocolate.
the concert hasn't completely sunk in. i never thought i'd have the chance to see bowie live. but now i have. glerrr. my mind. time to hug some vinyl.
the boi has become a complete bowie convert after having some kind of religious experience in front of the world's greatest rock god. he could have just converted over the 5 years his ears were constantly assaulted by bowie.
uni has gone back. i've had one lecture. it's exciting to be back in a really nerdy lisa-simpson kind of way.
i'm changing one of my incredibly boring units to a less boring unit where we get to make cool chemical compounds. it's harder but more fun. *cough*nerd.
sigh.

I got to see SGs, you got to see Bowie. Me thinks you got the better end of the deal. Glad you had fun at his concert.

Great concert moments like that are priceless. I saw Radiohead in Vancouver this summer and right inbetween songs a fock of Canadian geese fly in a perfect V over the stage. The crowd went nuts.
