IT'S SNOWING!!!!

thats right, the gods have finally chosen to listen to my pleas and there is actually what can be termed snow covering the grounds of OSU... its about bloody time!

needless to say, i am delighted.

in honor of this occasion, i went for a walk (something i have not been doing because the lack of snow was depressing) and managed to capture a little of the fleeting beauty that is our campus under winters finest gift. check my pictures for what i guess really is home these days...

anyway, satorii is calling me from beyond the cool panes of my window. i need to enjoy this while i can. as ever, the real test of enlightenment, or snow in Ohio, is not acheiving it, but trying to maintain it...

hope you poor bastards find the balance and understanding i have this night.

SNOW!!!

kidmorlock:
off topic from the Neuromancer thread so I'll post here:

I agree as far as Gibson's recent work. I love it when the 'cyberpunk' fans bash Gibson, Stephenson, Sterling, et al for straying from their 'roots.' I mean it is great to love someone's work, but do some of these people expect a writer to churn out razorgirls and sarariman scenes for two decades? Idoru is a classic as far as I'm concerned and I am sure Pattern Recog. will be the same. mass market pperback, where are you?!? tongue
