alright, so i quit smoking a few weeks ago, and i thought that would make my lungs happy, but i guess not
since i stopped smoking i have had a crazy cough (my lungs are obviously trying to expell the nastyness inside of them) and yesterday i almost died....well not really but it was scary.....
i had went to the river with friends which was all fine and dandy, but we had to hike a ways to get to the swimming hole. The hike down wasnt so bad, we just kinda fell down the hill lol.....but when it came time to leave, my body wasnt having it. I stright up had a total asthma attack and could not breathe whatsoever....well i was breathing but it was this crazy painful panting/weezing.....so yea, i started panicing which made it worse....luckilly, my dear friend kelsey had her inhaler handy, and saved the day.....im not sure what would have happened if she didnt have the inhaler....i dont want to think about it..........one of my biggest fears is suffocating, and i had a nice one on one with that fear yesterday.....it sucked, but hey, im alive, yay me!
but yea, is all of this because i quit smoking? are my lungs angry/confused? when i was a smoker, i would get out of breath, but nothing like that.................is this all part of whatt my friends calll the 'quitter's flu'? i hope so, i hope it goes away soon and isnt some permanent damage done by my years of smoking.
