got the marriage license today.

later in the day i was sending an e-mail to our photographer detailing the...well...details of our wedding.

as i was typing i realized how much left we have to do...and yet i find i'm not worried in the least bit. not stressed or freaking out. just so excited and happy and content and in love.

the really weird thing is i've never been a commitment girl. i've written that before but it definitely hit me when i realized that i've been looking for THE PERFECT pair of earrings to wear with the dress for longer than it took me to decide that i wanted to spend the rest of my life with the man i'm going to marry.

we had three official dates before he proposed. we discussed getting married on the third date. i knew i loved him at the end of the first date. and by the middle of the second one i knew i was going to marry him. or at least....i hoped i would be marrying him.

our wedding date is 6 months to the day from our first date. and i'm still searching for the freaking earrings.

but i'm so not freaked out because...well....this is just right. and everything else...accessories included are just details. extras. the important thing is that at this time in 16 days the license will be officially signed...we will be married and preparing for an epic night in the wedding suite before jetting off for our honeymoon!
