I've been redecorating my live journal. yee-haw. Whatelse? I'm exploring the world of Shakta or Shaktism. Very interesting....
Made another gigantic batch of bread again, flavoured with blackberry jam and apricot jam. Not quite as good as the last batch, possibly because I ran out of flour and had to use blue corn pancake mix while kneading... the loaves rose soooo huge due to the baking soda in tha pancake mix....
but I had no flour... and the mix was like 75% wheat flour....
well. The jury is still out. Plus I added more oil than last time: last time was just butter, and this was butter +oil, and more of both than before. very sticky batter. Not sure. I may try the next batch with oil instead of butter just to see.
Of course, I used the last of the whole wheat flour, white flour, yeast and gluten for this... time to go shopping...
....er when I get my next paycheck....
