Yeah I found out a few days ago that I'd been using the English mode to write everything, Quenya and English. Which means that all the Quenya names I wrote are wrong, which is good that I figured out before my friend inked it on herself for life

I haven't updated it on those pics, but I now know that for the Quenya mode you put the theta in the preceding tengwar. I still don't like how it looks that way, even though it does seem more compact when I redid some names and words, it just didn't flow as well.

Eventually I'll get into Sindarin, but right now I'm concentratingon Tengwar writing, then Quenya. And, no need to worry about geek factor, nothing to me is sexier than a girl I can get down and nerdy with

Here's what I get when I tried "auta i lome", which I gather means "the night is passing". I'm assuming this is right?



This is what my friend wants tattooed on her wrist, it means "ra" which is Quenya for "dawn", which is her name.



And then "love" on the nape of her neck (melme), maybe with a faery.



She's not sure yet, you two should probably talk I'm sure she'd be really interested in hearing from someone that's already done it. pixiedawn is her name.

I'll probably ask ya more stuff when I get further along, I didn't have anyone to collaborate with when I first started learning, which is why I had things wrong.
