I found the website for the norwegian tolkein society! yay! and another site that sells LOTR, Terry pratchet, douglas adams and JK Rowling in norwegian! yay!
Norwegian/swedish /danish are great because they are mutually intelligible, and have a very easy grammer(when compared with german, or even spanish. ) If you speak english, you already know half the grammer. I picked norwegian becasue thta's the one I found materials on when I first became interested. Plus on the advice of a linguit, saying then it would be easiest to go back and learn old norse. (actually Icelandic is closest, and then you can read the sagas)
yesterday they had mad max and the thunderdrome on tv. Wow. Excelent hats. Though I could do with out the ululating children.
then we watched pirates of the carribean.

we're moving on tuesday. Yay! that means I have awhole lot more packing to do.
