My ladies have started to pass away again
the first of a company goes in late barren fall
then through march they pass and pass
that last journey; winter journey home
they go to rest; they go to peace
to find that far, green country




I know, kind of a downer. 20+ residents passed away in the home I work in last year between november and march, and then only a few between march and november.

This isn't as terrible as it sounds. for most of them it is an end to suffering.

I remember most of them from when they were healthier.
