I get free coffee at the coffee shop I used to work with. Well, really it's not free, since part of the secret hookup-contract is that you tip the person comping you, and there's this lady outside that I always feel compelled to give money to.
It's weird, it's been a year since I've had my current job, and 10 months since I quit the coffee job. I worked at that shop for like three years.
It's strange to talk to the people I know in the shop because 95% of them have left, and there's all these people I don't know now. so strange to be the customer.
I find that I don't go to that shop so often, because I'm slightly embarassed by the whole free coffee thing- I don't want them to think I'm just dropping by to mooch.
Of course, I'm still addicted to their coffee. I still see regulars from there all around town.
strangeness.
