yuck too much smoke in the bar/danceclub. Well at least I got to dance. I got to see a bunch of old friends from capoeira that I don't see at class anymore, and haha! in the roda I got a near perfect rasteira off on the teacher. Not the he falls down kind, but the I could have knocked you over if I'd wanted to, but I'm nice and now you're off balance kind of a way. this is a rare occurance. yay! a rasteira is a sweep with the leg- a trip, in case you're not a capoierista. yay!
Only down side is he'll feel free to get me later, especially since it was in front of two other professors. One of whom said my rasteira was beautiful.
Well, that's not really a down side. It's never a bad thing to play with our teachers, even if they happen to be knocking you over. It's always good to play with someone really good.

Now, I think your armband is awesone too. The high tongue looks so lovely, and this is beautifully done. As more of a dwarf myself, I've considered having some runes done in ink, but I'd have to choose carefully what to say. I could find it, there's a challenge.
