So I read Rose Daughter which is Robin McKInley's second version of Beauty and the Beast. I think I liked the first one better, but the second was good, and he didn't turn back into a person at the end, like he always does, and that made me happy. I always liked Disney's Beast much better before he was changed back. Besides, when you're got a guy thats 8ft tall, he's bound to have a massive package, right? And after all, isnt that what's important? (That last bit is a joke.)
Worked on The Princess that Wasn't for a while today. I wrote the end, now for the hard part--filling in the middle. It's at about 5k right now, and will probably level off to around 8k, which is a difficult word count to sell, but then, who is going to buy a story about a hermaphrodite princess anyway?
I wish I had some ice cream, but I think I should really diet...but, if I walked all the way to CVS (over a mile I think) wouldn't that justify a pint of Ben and Jerry's? Maybe not, glancing at my profile pic...
I was going to clean and run errands today, but it didn't happen. (ANd I got dressed and everything) Maybe tomorrow. I was thinking about going to country kitchen for dinner earlier, and now I wish I had, b/c I just remembered that Kelly works sat. and I wouldn't mind a familiar face.
