Stuff I liked:
Draco is such a drama queen. Every movie pushes me a little closer to the truth. Draco is a little pansy. I can't wait until he comes out of the closet.
When I write fanfic, I always play up Hermione's bitchy side. The punching malfoy bit was priceless. I loved all of the UST between her and Ron, but I think she got too touchy-feely with Harry at some points.
Trelawney was dead on. Loved her.
Luv the twin's new haircuts. I find it amusing, how they're so interchangable. They do it in the books, their names are combined on ff.net. Why not have them sharing sentences and speaking at the same time.
Alfonso Curon seems to have an affinity with severed heads. If the scene doesnt have a shrunken head in it, it has a scull. The knight bus head is my new favorite character.
It's not nice and stuff but...I liked new dumbledore better.
*****
I went into this movie completely positive. I loved the previews, pictures, and interviews I had read. I didn't want to look for mistakes.
I didn't really think about it being choppy until I read this thread. Then I remembered listening to the kid behind us explaining all sorts of things to his parents. All I know is that I saw what I wanted, and understood what was going on. So I don't care that ppl who hadn't read the books didn't. *I* got to see pretty moving pictures.
Lupin. I liked the acting, I got used to the look, but still, not what I pictured. The whole Lily thing crushed me. Remus is supposed to be gay! The wolf was creepy looking and didnt have enough hair.
Pettigrew did annoy me. ANd how did he go from rat to human form wearing clothes, but when he went frm human to rat, he lost the clothes. I know they just didnt want a naked guy on screen, but still...
Annoyed that Goyle has gone missing. He has a lot more personality than crabbe.
