Happy Birthday to Me!

I don't think that I have any extensive birthday plans except to take the day off of work (is that wrong? i am still deciding...) and class, run some errands, maybe go shopping and have dinner out with all of my friends. I am not one of those people who expects everyone to wait on me hand&foot all day. I have been around those types on my birthday and vowed to never be like them. It's just a birthday... Anyway, this is that one day out of the year that is slightly more exciting than others.

Work has been going really well and so has school. This semester so far has been interesting. It is scary being a senior. Especially because I don't know where I want to move to...I feel like I have so many possibilities that it is impossible to narrow it down. I mean, I could even apply to positions outside of the U.S. if I really wanted. It would be my chance to finally travel and see the world. We'll see. Turning 23 is making me think about these things...

It would be a really great birthday present to find out if my set were excepted yet...I am still waiting patiently. The suspense is really starting to kill me here.

I just got back from a 24-hour diner here in town and it made me miss the Grill in Tucson. I miss home in general especially when I can't celebrate my birthday with my family. It has felt like the 12 days of Christmas, though because my mom has been sending me small little gifts all week. Hopefully, someone will send me flowers. they make me happy...

I was supposed to go out with some of my co-workers tonight but they haven't called me. Boooo. Oh well. I am full of diner breakfast food anyway. No room for al-co-ma-hol. It's either time for bed or for me to try to clean up this mess of a room.
