i guess that i just shouldn't talk anymore.
i am better off most all of the time just keeping my mouth shut.
i had a feeling. i'm smart, intuitive...i just knew it.
damn, i'm good
if that's the way you feel. so be it.
{throws hands up in air}
i've been surrounded by so much immaturity during my life. it is really sad. basically all of high school up until the present day, 98% of people that i have to deal with are too immature for me. i'm not trying to sound elitist here or anything, or better than anyone. i've had these same people admit to me that they are immature. some have apologized for it. but what does it take for people to grow up?
i could go down the list and state the offense of each of these individuals. typically, they blame something else, some outside factor or experience. what in the world can we blame on anything? we have no control over those factors, or feelings that they create. the only thing that we can do is experience, learn and grow. instead of staying in rigid views of cause and effect..."this happened, so now i am this way" we need to overcome those things and move on. Maybe this is an element of maturing, realizing that we aren't helpless. that we can control our attitide and not be overrun by emotions from things that have happened in our past. i'm not trying to be insensative, but it is true.
you wouldn't believe the things that i have been through in some of my relationships. I'm not going to get into specifics, but I'm not shunning men for the rest of my life! I found that i can't go through my life scared of taking risks or putting trust in others. it's pointless. if you don't have trust in people, i don't really think that you have anything at all. to me, trust evolves into love. and if you don't have any love in your life, what's the point?
take some risk, for my sake.
life is too short not to.

what brought on the maturity discussion?
It's about accountability too...people allow these feelings brought on by their past to cripple them. They become hobbled by this stuff and never seem to get up to speed, are never able to fully evolve...it's weird. And hard to watch.
Hope you have a great weekend!
