So, I was just post tagging with gayballs and I started rambling about the new Blockbuster Online!!! If you don't have it you should so get it!!!! I was getting 2 movies, I switched to 1 because now after you watch your mail movie you can take it to Blockbuster and switch it for a new instore movie for free!! It doesn't effect your mail movies at all. And you still get coupons online for free instore movies. So, if you watch 2-3 movies a week your set. And you save 5.22 a week. I like it too because for us 2-3 movies is alot, but the kids can pickout whatever stupid movie they want. okay Blockbuster rant over
So, I finished Caden's scarf. I made it too thick, but it can go over his ears if it's really cold. It was a little short so I added fringe. Doing this for the first time is so exciting. I love it. Now I'm working on a little zippered purse (as seen in Marha Steward Living). It's a stockinette stitch. My frist purling. I got the hang of it pretty quick. I'll probably be done with it today, I'm going to make a few before I sew the lining and add the zipper. That way I can do that at the same time.
I also bought some teacups and mugs at a thrift store. Everything was 40% off it ROCKED! So, I made them into candles (also seen in Martha Stewart Living). And I got a brand new King's shirt that like XL, but I'm going to "Generation T" it so It fits me.
We decided to get a new TV last night. We had a 27" tube tv. That we bought 5 years ago when we first got married. We bought a 32" LCD Flat Screen. All I wanted was a bigger size of what we already had. Like a 42" tube. But, we decided to go for the LCD screen instead. And I really wanted a 42" but we saved $400 going a size smaller. But, we have 30 days to get a price adjustment and 90 days to return it, so if the 42: goes on sale we're getting it!!! It's a really nice TV though. It's so slim. We got it on base so we didn't have to pay sales tax!!
In other news our Familyl Support Group has raised over 2000 for the xmas party!!! Mostly from the Venfor Sale we had. We had 38 vendors who each paid 50$ unfortunantly the turn out was bad. But, we still got to keep the money. Most of the Vendors were happy. Only like 2 were irate about it. No one asked for their money back. Af few were just happy to help the Family Support Group.
I think that's about it. Oh I totaly skimmed down my friends list. I hope noone was offended. Most I never even seen a blog from them. I was just too overwhelmed by all the blogs I couldn't keep track of the friends that I enjoy. So for those of you I didn't cut. Congrats!! J/k
Over and out.
