Yesterday I had an appointment with Shane Munce at Olde Media Tattoo. We've been working on my arm for way too long now-the stained glass window was the last part done, last January. Unfortunately, last February my dog got very sick, and then in August I lost my cat. The budget for getting tattooed really wasn't there after that!
Their whole studio is really cool, but Shane's room in particular is awesome. It's full of models of medical oddities and skateboards he's designed. Overall a really creative space.
He touched up my inner arm, and we added color to the floor behind them as well as in the stained glass window. I quit smoking last September, and I have to say that I really, really miss smoke breaks while getting tattooed.
Today I was mostly concerned about finding something in my closet that wouldn't rub. Luckily this dress works perfectly! My arm is super swollen, of course, but I'm so excited to see it healed.
