I just got back from the beach, I wish it were under better circumstances.
Yesterday was the last day of my brother in law's rosary, which was also unfortunately the first day of my nephew's. Im not Catholic but I say the words out of respect for my family.
His name was Tyler, he was 6. He wanted to own a toy store, and he promised to make stuffed cats there so I could buy them for my kids when I had them.
We went to Build-a-Bear so that my niece could make him a stuffed animal to go in his casket with him.
If you've ever known a mother of multiple children you've seen the flash of panic that streaks her face when she can can't see one of them in her immediate sight. If you've ever known a mother who's lost a child, then you've seen the devastating look that crosses it right after. The moment she realizes that the child isnt out of eyesight. Just gone. It's day two and this still happens about once an hour. Every time I see it I think I break a little. No one should ever lose a spouse and a child in a 40 day span. Theres only so much a person can take.
I think I just needed a rant.
Lastly I think the world is a sick place to live. Life's not fair, and good people get to suffer and die.
You can tell yourself there's a reason for it, that you're a special snow flake and that there's a grand master plan. But I think deep down I think we all know better. Have a nice day

My sister is the baddest of badasses, but if there's a god she must have stood him up at the prom in a past life or something, because he's got a grudge like no other.
