I am a store manager now!!! The store promoted me to store manager the other day, more hours but better pay! Not too much else has been going on, just working and sleeping, not much time for anything else. Just a little update to say where I have been and why I haven't been very active on here.

Ok So last Tuesday one of the assistants from the other store owned by the same company and I are talking and she sais that she was talking to my store manager Rachel and Rachel said that Lindsay the District manager is thinking about making me the store manager of the other store. But don't say anything cuz Rachel said not to tell me. SO ok. BUT ITS FUCKIN KILLING ME!
If you know me you know I'm not going to college. I like retail and have decided thats what I want to do. Being a store manager is like that big goal. And to have that already would be huge and awesome. So as you can imagine I wanted to know.
So the next day I was working with Rachel and I figured that since the other store was having so many problems with staffing it wouldn't be out of the question to ask what was going on. So I did. Rachel was like "Well I can't really say" My answer was just umm ok. Then she says fuck it it involves you so I'll tell you. Lindsay is thinking of making you store manager of (the other store). But its not for sure and blah blah blah. So I say wow ok great. We talked about it a little and she told Lindsay she talked to me. But Rachel still said that it wasn't for sure ect.
Next day I was closing so I went in at 2 and Lindsay comes walking out of the back she asked if she could talk to me out of the store for a few. So we walk out and go sit on a bench in the mall. She immediatly offers me the store manager job. Anyways I take it and she sais she'll get back to me as soon as she can with a salary. Like 20 mins latter she calls and I take the salary. And she said its active immidiatly.
YAY!!! Long story. Sorry.
