i shall do - it's not that i haven't been painting my ass - or rather, hands - off of late, it's more a problem of owning a caera that at best, takes blurry under-exposed photographs that don't do my work any favours. i'm going to invest in a decent camera with my first paycheck back in sweden, along with feeding all the inevitable food addictions i've picked up there.
it's all portraiture these days too - which is where i'm most comfortable in my work
mmm, and i loved your al pacino anecdote - i agree with you. i think with a lot of actors of that calibre, as they get older, there just aren't any meatier roles that can do their craft justice. i'd say the same about de niro.
i don't think it's a failing of the actors, more that they just aren't making anything really spellbindingly good anymore - like, half the movies on at the theater right now here are either adapted from books, or are sequels, and i think, a couple of remakes - are there no original ideas left, you know?
and we shall have wine, one of these days. i'll probably be visiting friends i have over there towards the end of the year, maybe the beginning of next, so. . . who knows

and, i meant to thank you for referring me to that journal entry - it made me chuckle
