A while ago my co-worker and friend has his birthday so everyone went out for dinner and then later some of us headed to a bar. Kim told us that the Ryerson film people were getting together at this one bar, so we headed there.
It was a pretty preppy place but it had alcohol and that was all that mattered to the guys. So we get some pitchers and sit down. Kim introduces me to a bunch of her friends, and the guys check out the girls and discuss their assets.
As I poured a pint I saw someone out of the corner of my eye, and then had turned my head to confirm what I saw. With a "Holy shit!" I excused myself and jumped up from the table we were at and headed over to the table where he was sitting.
He was talking to a girl and I was dumbfounded and a bit drunk so I just stared at him in disbelief. He looked at me.
"Um hi."
"James!" I exclaimed. "James McCarthy!"
"Yeah." He looked at me like I was nuts.
"Dude it's Alex from St. Matt's!"
James' squinted for a moment. "Holy shit! Al?! Is that you?"
I haven't seen James in about four or five years. He still looks the same and from what I can tell is still the same old James. It was pretty crazy.
The night ended at that bar despite our attempt of making it to a strip club.

Other than that I'm still working at The Source...oh and being in love with Kim. Last night I made her a candle lit pasta dinner and when she came over I thought she was going to cry she was so happy.

I'm also debating on not going back to school. I mean I might take night classes next year, but I just don't know if spending all that money on university is really worth it right now.
