I've started packing for my move.
Toronto is starting to feel a little more like home. I've gotten to know some people and made some good friends.
Work is the same old same old and I still think I want to quit, but that sucks because lately me and the boss have been getting along really well.
Viscera's Recital is here on the 15th and I can't wait to see them again.
Here is a photo of the play piercing I did a while back, an american bill we got in the store, and a firebreathing fellow I met at a pub.
I have started saving for my back piece, but the thought of doing a suspension keeps popping into my head and it holds me back from getting this tattoo started. I don't want hooks through this tattoo.
go to your calendar and find the first entry for each month of 2005. post the first line (or so) of it in your journal, and that's your 'year in review'
JANUARY: New year's eve day started off with me getting up at 7am and getting ready for work. Little did I know that the outdoors were a veritable skating rink. After nearly breaking my neck going down the front walkway I went back inside and re-comissioned my combat boots into service. These suckers hug ice like nothing else.
FEBUARY: So early this morning I ventured down to the clinic.
MARCH: Iworked a full day today. The most eventful thing today was when we had a visit from a customer who was exactly like Kevin Spacey in The Usual Suspects. If you know what I'm talking about great, don't say anything here. if you don't know what I'm talking about GO RENT THE USUAL SUSPECTS NOW!!!
APRIL: So having a fever has left me with some random thoughts that I scribbled on some paper.
MAY: Ok so in the past few days what's gone on.
JUNE: So the dumbass at work called in to say he quit. We're trying to nab two employees now since we need to find my replacement...the does not like this one bit, and asks me if I'm really going.
JULY: First off SORRY PAUL, I fell asleep shortly after dinner and woke up late. Sorry I missed the party.
AUGUST: Everyone you know I'm not religious but please send positive thoughts and energy to my friend Courtney, i'm really worried about her.
SEPTEMBER: So I'm back in Ottawa now. They city feels different, like it's just a place to visit and not the place where I grew up.
OCTOBER: So life in TO is different. Not better and not worse, just different. I guess that's because the bad is still coming up and making the little bits of good neutral.
NOVEMBER: Well today I had one of those special first moment moments. Get your mind of the gutter.
I was handed the keys the car and told I could drive on my own. Ok so that may seem lame to many seeing as I am 22 and this is my first solo driving experience, but it was awesome. I felt so free.
DECEMBER: I've started packing for my move.
