Been sick as a dog working in the studio all day and yesterday working on helping No Room To Breathe get a demo together. A good learning experience. Man, this whole journal entry is like all music related.

In other news, some of our tracks will be used in an independent film featured in the Warhol Museam.

Well, tonight pissed me off quite a bit. But it was okay I guess. We played at the battle of the bands benefit show, and while the band plays, they pass around a can with that bands name on it, and if you like that band you put money in the can. The band before us played way too long and cut into like 13 minutes of our time. I told my band that I wouldnt play this show unless we play the new songs we just wrote. So, becuase of the band before us, we got shafted and didnt get to play the last three songs, which were our best ones. I was pissed. The amount of work I had to go through to make it happen to get shafted like that, sucks, but on the other hand, we won the battle of the bands, and raised the most amount of money. And I had a good time afterwards.

I dont think I could communicate the amount of stress put on someone when dealing with shows, sudio time, confilcting schedules, mishaps, etc. while there is so much other stuff going on in my life, like a job, finding distribution for a movie, college courses, work, websites, writing music, and I need more time to meditate and integrate. I need to come back to the present and be thankful for all that is here now. And I need to follow my intuition and my hearts desires that are nagging for me to take some time to turn up the volume on the things that matter most.
Oh well, another show tommorrow (today)(Sunday), another benefit show actually. This one near the Pitt Dorms, we play at like 7:45pm, were the second to last band.

The show went great tonight. We had a double encore this time, cause they wanted more, and there was a bit more freedom in the time schedule, I think. We all gooffed up at parts a bit cause there was little rehearsel, and little sleep, but all in all, it was a good performance. Well, practice tomorrow, and another show on Sunday. Im sure that will leave us with some decent pictures, that I can use for the website that I just started making. We will be in the studio in the middle of March, so after that, we will have some better audio to put on the site. Right, well, sleep.

I was away for a few days so I'm just getting back to you now.
Thank you for the education and the links. You seem very spiritual and such. I can't seem to be able to calm myself down long enough to even relax never mind finding my center or what not. LOL.
Oh what kind of band are you in? What kind of music do you play?
