Runnin' in the rain the last few weeks, still sweat but it doesn't show. The farm is flourishing this year daily rain and hot sun, lotsa apples, pears, cherries peaches, and plums. The vineyard should produce a couple hundred pounts of Chardanays and Merlots, don't think I'm gonna make any wine this year tho. Planted 5 cuttings of wasabi horse radish this spring, will def have mustard from hell. Can't eat it straight, have to mix it with mayo or rach to tame it below the pain level. Everything is organic, too much rain to spray anyway. We have allot of birds this year and they keep the bugs under control. Planted 40 green peppers this year in protest of last winters a buck each price. Madam is Cajun so we have the obligatory Okra patch too. This is the first year for my big herb garden, it great to have fresh everything right out the kitchen door. I'm mostly French in the kitchen now, I cook most anything for Madam and Junior, but I'm harcore Veggie myself, nearly vegan, but I still eat fish for running fuel. Too many carbs in pure vegan for an old fart, even with 5 miles a day of hill running. I've heard all the advice, but pure vegan still slows me down.
